Last class before spring break!!

Today we spent time in class dissecting fetal pigs. What a great learning opportunity!!

Homework over the break:


  • Finish your animal diversity project, be ready to present after break. Use the rubric to double check that you have everything that you need!

  • Biology related novel write up: Write a paragraph summarizing the content of your novel. Write a paragraph explaining how the novel relates to our biology course. Write a paragraph explaining whether or not you would recommend this book to anyone else, if so, what type of audience. This write up should be about a page typed. Paragraphs have ~5 sentences each.

We had a great opportunity to hear from Dr. Li, professor of Biology at Hope College, today. He shared with us some of his research, and gave us a guided tour of the greenhouse. This was a perfect kick off for our chapters on plants.
